As November deepens, the northern hemisphere drifts into a season of rest. The land withdraws into quiet. The fields lie bare, trees stand stripped of their leaves, and the long days of light are giving way to lingering dusk. Even so, Nature reminds us that this season is not an ending; it is the beginning of a deep phase of renewal. Just as the soil regenerates beneath a blanket of fallen leaves, our spirits pause, reflect, and become still. The invitation this month is to honor what has ended: projects completed, relationships transformed, dreams that have run their course. Grief and gratitude often walk hand in hand now. By allowing ourselves to feel what has passed away, we make space for healing. In this way, we become more deeply connected to the pulse of life itself – ever changing, always cycling through birth, death, and rebirth. Amid the growing darkness, we are called to tend the inner fire. It may be the warmth of a candle, a moment of meditation, or shared silence with loved ones. Whatever form it takes, this inner light sustains us through the long nights ahead. As the earth sleeps, we are invited to rest as well, trusting that renewal is already stirring in the unseen places within and beneath us. This season calls us to consider:
